Description

Summary:
The role involves coaching senior executives within UNC Health and the SOM, providing one-on-one coaching sessions and tracking coaching activities. The individual will support DevelopMe Leadership Coaches and will conduct ROI/ROE studies, generating comprehensive reports. Additionally, the role includes developing and implementing group and team coaching programs, serving as faculty for the UNC Health Coach Training Academy, and supporting the design and professional development of coach training programs.
Applicants are encouraged to indicate experience with conducting ROI/ROE and generating comprehensive reports.
Responsibilities:
Conduct confidential and customized coaching sessions with executive leaders to address specific goals, challenges and development areas.
Build strong, trusting relationships based on confidentiality, professionalism and empathy; establishes rapport and credibility to create an environment conducive to open and honest dialogue.
Collaborate with executive leaders at UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine to define clear and achievable goals, supporting them in the creation of actions and strategies to support them.
Support executive leaders at UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine in identifying strengths and areas of growth and providing guidance for enhancing leadership effectiveness.
Facilitate and encourages self-reflection and awareness of leadership styles and behavioral patterns to promote continuous learning and growth. Partner with research design experts in the School of Medicine to develop and conduct ROI/ROE studies and generates study reports.
Hold leaders accountable for their commitments and actions, providing ongoing support and encouragement throughout their leadership journey.
Support the design, development and implementation of coach training programs across UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine that align with the organization?s leadership development goals, including:
Serve as faculty for the Coach Training Academy, an ICF-accredited program resulting in Certified Professional Coach (CPC) designation for graduates, preparing graduates for ICF credential.
Provide leadership during Professional Development Coaching Practicum (PDCP) series for certified and credentialed coaches
Design and facilitate training programs to building coaching skillsets of leaders throughout the organization.
Support the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for creating a coaching culture aligned with organizational goals and leadership development needs.

Other information: Education Requirements: ? Bachelor?s degree in an appropriate discipline. Master?s degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Licensure/Certification Requirements: ? International Coaching Federation PCC credential required. Professional Experience Requirements: ? Requires four (4) years in program management, preferably in a healthcare or leadership development context. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: ? Understanding of adult learning principles, coaching methodologies, and leadership development best practices. Familiarity with organizational structures, change management, and stakeholder management. Building strong relationships with senior leaders, HR, coaches, and program participants. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently. Staying up to date on trends in coaching, leadership development, and the healthcare industry Utilizing data to inform program development, coach selection, and program evaluation.
