JOB SUMMARYReporting to the SVP, HR Total Rewards, the VP Wellbeing & Benefits is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring benefits programs for Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH) that meaningfully support all team members. Functional areas of expertise may include medical, dental, life, disability, paid time off, recognition, retirement, and wellness. Ensures BSWH benefits offerings remain market competitive/leading while aligning with enterprise financial objectives. Evaluates and negotiates contracts with providers. Develops benefits communications and advises and counsels employees on benefits related issues. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legislation regarding taxes, reporting, and privacy issues.
