Duke Eye Center of Winston-Salem seeks a full-time Oculofacial Specialist to lead our clinical efforts in this growing region of NC. You will play a pivotal role for delivery of the highest level of specialty care as the lead plastics physician. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct clinical impact and expand the practice with support from ASOPRS-trained colleagues at the main campus in Durham.
Our Winston-Salem eye center is a premier regional referral center for advanced, specialized oculofacial care in the Triad region of North Carolina. This is a highly clinical role with the opportunity to directly impact patient outcomes in a growing referral-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary plastics physician for the clinic, guiding clinical operations, patient flow, and team coordination to ensure the highest quality of patient care
Collaborate with a team of highly trained oculofacial specialists from across Duke Health to provide comprehensive care to patients in a multidisciplinary environment
Three and half days in clinic, one day in OR, and a half-day administrative; 1st call for office, ER call in cooperation with physician colleagues in Winston-Salem
Qualifications:
ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency trained; ASOPRS-accredited oculofacial fellowship preferred but not required
Board Certification or Eligible for completion within the first year of hire
