DescriptionUnder the general supervision of the Practice Manager and the assigned faculty surgeon or surgeons, the incumbent will provide administrative and scheduling support for the assigned plastic surgery practice(s). Major duties include: coordinating new patient appointments, surgery scheduling, including coordination with co-surgeons from other departments, counseling patients on the scheduling process, and counseling patients on their financial obligations, obtaining pre-certifications /pre- authorizations, answering phone lines and triaging calls, maintaining patient records.
