Advanced Practice Provider - (PA/NP) Urgent Care
The Urgent Care (UC) Advanced Practice Provider, (APP), Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, is part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. The UC APP is responsible for examining and treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and work-related health problems, as well as performing specialized occupation health exams (including Department of Transportation (DOT) and other fitness for duty exams).The UC APP provides initial and ongoing assessment and treatment of patient's medical, physical, and psychosocial status, including:Obtaining a relevant health and medical historyPerforming a physical examination based on age and historyConducting preventive screening procedures based
