Behavioral Health Clinician/Consultant
Job DescriptionThis role provides direct crisis intervention services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations in the Emergency Department and in hospital units. Completed psychiatric assessments and formulates dispositions with physicians, healthcare professionals, families, hospitals and community professionals. Applies knowledge of diagnostic criteria to evaluate and recommend appropriate level of care for behavioral health patients. Responsible for obtaining authorizations for inpatient services.
