University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening available for a full-time OB/GYN physician.
Job Specifics:
* Employed group comprised of two OB/GYN physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers. Seeking a third physician to meet growing volumes.
* Generalist scope of practice includes mix of obstetrics and gynecology
* Service supported by 24/7 in house OB hospitalist coverage
* Hospital performs 1400 deliveries per year on average; unit includes 14 labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum rooms
* Level II nursey covered by 24/7 pediatric hospitalists
* Work/life balance supported by very limited call arrangement
* Excellent hospital administration support as well as in office support staff
* Elbow to elbow EPIC support
* Position eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation support
