The role you’ll contribute:
Operates radiation detection imaging equipment and administers radionuclides to patients. Checks quality of radionuclides purchased. Monitors contaminated articles to ensure that radioactivity is not spread to unaffected persons. Keeps a record of tests conducted, test results, use and disposition of radionuclide and body products containing radionuclide.

- Orders supplies.
- Performs other related duties as required and deemed necessary per Radiology Director.
- Follows the AIDET model(Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation and Thank)
- Follows “Standard of Behavior” guidelines per hospital policy.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
- ARRT in Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) and/or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- Kansas State License (LRT)
- BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Up to 1 Year of Position-Related Experience
