Under the supervision of the Mental Health Program Manager, the Senior Psychologist, Supervisor provides general supervision of Psychologists; and depending on work location may have direct supervision of the following classifications: Office Assistant, Office Technician, Office Services Supervisor II, Health Program Specialist I, Psychiatric Technician, and Recreation Therapist. Directs specialized psychological assessment/treatment programs; participates in the hiring of new employees; reviews and makes recommendations regarding research projects; reviews second level inmate appeals; provides consultation regarding clinical issues to custodial staff; performs special assignments requested by the Chief Psychiatrist.
