Job Summary:
We are seeking a Health Center Administrator-Nursing Operations in our Duke Cardiology locations in Morrisville, NC, Cary, NC and in Durham, NC to provide overall administrative and clinical direction, oversight for policies and procedures, and programs of complex, multi-disciplinary adult ambulatory clinics/practices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Review current and future staffing needs to ensure budget management
Manage various personnel actions including hiring, orientation, performance appraisals, promotions, and scheduling
Counsel and conduct formal discipline of clinical staff
Establish schedules, task assignments, and allocation of manpower, space, and equipment
Manage invoices for clinic expenditures and reconcile procurement card purchases
Determine fiscal requirements, make projections, and prepare the budget
Monitor, verify, and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds
Ensure Joint Commission, Infection Control, OESO, DUHS, NCBON, AAMA, and AMT Guidelines and Regulations are met
Coordinate and document all required drills
Identify best practices for performance improvement processes and projects
Oversight of multi-specialty nursing services delivered
This role will require floating between and managing multiple clinic locations.
Job Eligibility Requirements:
Work requires 3 years of related administrative or clinic/practice management experience to acquire competence in applying general operational practices, personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles and coordination of clinic administrative functions.
BSN Required; Master's in Business, Heath Care Administration or Master of Science in Nursing preferred
Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required.
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
