PRN Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider- (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
We are seeking a skilled nurse practitioner or physician assistant/associate to join our team in the trauma surgery department of our Trauma Center. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide services to the acutely injured patient across the care continuum, from the trauma bay to the intensive care unit and floor. Our APPs perform initial assessments of the injured patient, admissions, procedures, education, and discharges, all while working collaboratively with a team of board-certified trauma and critical care surgeons. Clinicians care for critically ill patients with traumatic injury, respiratory failure, severe arrhythmias and cardiac arrest, sepsis and septic shock, intracranial hemorrhage, altered mental status, coma, and more.
