The selected candidate will provide specialized family centered care for acutely ill/injured infants, children and teens in the Beeghly Emergency Department. The Emergency Department (ED) sees more than 38,000 visits annually. Enjoy practicing in a new 35,000 square foot, state-of-the-art ED, that features 23 treatment rooms. Our Beeghly campus ED collaborates with the Akron campus which is a designated level 1 trauma center. Akron Children's is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio that has its own helicopter and pediatric transport team. 

This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/certification in Pediatrics, ACLS, ATLS, PALS and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
