Our adult medical surgical combination unit at White Memorial is a 24-bed unit. We aim to have a daily census of 10-12 patients which included 4 PCU beds and swing bed patients on our inpatient unit. Our nurses work with a team of staff that include doctors, hospitalists, and nocturnist. Our patient population ranges in ages 18-100+yo with diagnoses including congestive heart failure, chest pain/ME, abdominal pain, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, pneumonia, post-op surgeries, wounds, flu, COVID, weakness, injuries sustained from falls at home, etc. We are looking for team-oriented nurses that have a passion for caring for others.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year RN experience.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
