As a Certified Pharmacy Technician IV - 340B Program Analyst/Pharmacy Buyer at NVRH, you'll serve as the cornerstone of our pharmaceutical cost management and compliance program. This highly specialized position combines advanced pharmacy operations with 340B program expertise and strategic purchasing responsibilities. Working closely with the Director of Pharmacy, you'll ensure our organization maximizes savings through the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. In our community-focused healthcare system, your expertise will have a direct impact on our ability to provide affordable medications and expand services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 340B Program compliance and optimization by developing policies and procedures, conducting monthly self-audits and contract pharmacy audits, ensuring patient eligibility verification, and preventing duplicate discounts through comprehensive monitoring and data analysis
• Lead purchasing and inventory operations by managing the complete procurement process, negotiating supplier contracts, monitoring par levels for cost-efficient inventory control, conducting annual inventories, and ensuring compliance with Drug Supply Chain Security Act requirements
• Provide education and reporting by developing 340B training programs for staff, obtaining Advanced 340B Certification, creating financial impact reports for management, and collaborating with compliance teams to establish audit metrics and performance indicators
• Support comprehensive pharmacy operations including medication order processing, emergency cart maintenance, sterile and non-sterile compounding (USP 795, 797, 800), staff mentoring, and maintaining accurate documentation and records across all pharmacy systems

Required Qualifications

• Current state pharmacy technician licensure and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
• 12-18 months of certified pharmacy technician experience required
• 2+ years of 340B Drug Pricing Program experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
• Advanced 340B Certification required within first 12 months of hire
