Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher-level degree in nursing, healthcare or adult education from an accredited college or university, required. (Must provide proof at time of interview).

• Must possess Two (2) years of recent experience in medical/surgery, critical care, emergency, or pediatrics, required.

• Must be Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois, required.

• Must be able to travel to all CCHHS affiliates and ACHN clinics on an as needed basis, required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

• Intermediate Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint skills

• Ability to obtain and synthesize data

• Ability to engage adult learners

• Project management skills

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

When applying for employment with the Cook County Health & Hospitals System, preference is given to honorably discharged Veterans who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States for not less than 6 months of continuous service.
