Locals love the easy access to beaches for surfing and beach activities and the Santa Monica mountains for hiking, while the great diversity in restaurants and cultural attractions add to the unique feel of our area.

KP West LA's collegial culture has led to a safe, secure, and respectful work environment. With our flat hierarchy, the medical staff is well integrated and supportive from all sides. Opinions count, voices are heard, whether from the most junior or senior physicians, promoting open dialogue and a strong camaraderie. One of the KP SCAL's mid-sized service areas, West LA has significant breadth, depth, and expertise in several tertiary specialties. Community involvement is strongly encouraged and supported; physicians and staff help in local schools and health fairs. In fact, West LA has adopted several local clinics, further contributing to the health and well-being of its diverse--and very appreciative--patient population. KP West LA is also a significant contributor to our Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine with over 100 of our doctors being faculty at the medical school. We always support and encourage our doctors to get involved in medical education with our medical school as well as our several KP residency programs.
