SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Graduate nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
Obtain AHA ACLS certification by the end of orientation or within six (6) months of hire, whichever occurs first.
