The Alexandria VA Health Care Network is dedicated to advocating for a whole health system of care in each of our Medical Centers. Key Responsibilities:
- Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm, No call
- Approximately 12 patients per day in an outpatient setting
- Outpatient only with protected administrative time.
- This is not a remote position. On-station telehealth eligible (virtual visits - video, remote care by telephone)
- Access to Clinical Pharmacists and Clinical Psychologists at each location
- May qualify for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period)

- Competitive Salary: $230,000 - $260,000
- Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays.

Preferred Experience:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in FM/IM.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
- Current full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Living and working in Natchitoches, LA: Natchitoches is the heart of Natchitoches Parish. Founded in 1714 the site was established near a village of Natchitoches Indians. As the oldest permanent settlement in the Louisiana Purchase territory, its history is also a story of the development of our nation. The City’s Historic Landmark District, which fronts Cane River Lake and encompasses a 33-block area, includes many historic homes, churches and commercial structures. A mixture of Queen Anne and Victorian architecture, along with Creole style cottages can be seen throughout the district. The 1989 Hollywood movie Steel Magnolias was more than a box-office hit. It elevated Natchitoches’ already considerable status as one of the South’s most charming small towns.
