Position SummaryAcute Care Float Pool Registered Nurses utilize a patient and family-centered approach to provide compassionate and high-quality care for children of all ages. Acute Care Float Pool Nurses are assigned on a shift-by-shift basis to care for patients in one of the acute care units, including: Care Areas 1, 7, 8, 9, 10, and med/surg overlfow. Patient populations cared for include acute and chronic medical, surgical, hem/onc, rehab, and behavioral health patients. Nurses collaboratively work with a multi-disciplinary team to care for patients. Clinical leadership is available on both days and nights to provide ongoing support.
