DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Surgical Technician Apprentice is member of the surgical technician training program and works under the supervision of the Surgical Technician Educator. This year long training program will teach the apprentice to provide support for surgeons throughout the operation by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment and maintaining a sterile field.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a school of Surgical Technology preferred.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification required within 6 months of starting the training program
