Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our established and growing team in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our Anesthesia team consists of 5 physicians and 20 CRNAs, plus an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

Mercy Hospital Southeast:

• Mercy Southeast is licensed for 245 beds and serves a population of 675,000 in a five-state area.

• Diverse set of cases: Ortho (with blocks), Labor and Delivery, Low Volume Healthy Peds (ENT), Spines, Rare Heads, Basic Hearts/CT, Cath Lab, Gyn, Urology, and Other Ancillary Services.

• 3 Cardiac OR?s and 1 dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist with Cardiac CRNA?s 24/7.

Mercy Southeast Anesthesia:

• Call rotation 1:5.

• Medical direction with max 1:4.

• No second call duties. Overnight call from home.

• Work exclusively at one hospital.

• No trauma call.

• CRNA takes all intubations and epidurals. Physician called in for OR cases and C-Sections.

• Great work life balance position with excellent relationships between CRNA?s and Physicians.
