The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics (VASORCC) in White City, Oregon, is currently looking for full-time, board-eligible psychiatrists to join our Mental Health Service Line team. VASORCC provides primary care, mental health, and psychosocial rehabilitation to 18,000 outpatients and 525 residential Veterans. As a VASORCC Psychiatrist, you will offer patient-centered care through an integrated care team, utilizing an Electronic Health Record system that spans all national VHA facilities. Ideal candidates will have experience collaborating with multiple disciplines to provide psychopharmacological and behavioral health services. Additionally, psychiatrists will offer telehealth services to other VHA clinics. While board certification is preferred, candidates with comparable qualifications are encouraged to apply. All VASORCC Psychiatrists must obtain a buprenorphine prescribing waiver within three months of hire.
Specialty Psychiatrist Positions Available:
Lead Psychiatrist: You will work closely with the prescribing team across the Behavioral Health Service overseeing the practice of psychiatric prescribing. You will be part of the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) as well as part of our Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) providing care to Veterans.
About VASORCC:
VASORCC serves outpatient Veterans throughout southern Oregon and northern California, and residential Veterans primarily from the western US (with 16% from the rest of the nation). Our residential psychosocial rehabilitation program focuses on Veterans dealing with chronic mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness.
