Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) in Washington, DC is actively seeking a Psychiatrist to join our inpatient services. We are currently recruiting for a weekend coverage and PRN position.

Position Details:

As a Weekend/PRN Psychiatrist for Inpatient services, responsibilities include initial evaluations and assessments, as well as daily care of patients in the acute program.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program required
• Board certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required
• Licensed to practice in Washington DC or the ability to obtain a DC medical license
• Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
• Flexibility to see all ages as well as substance use disorder

Compensation Package:

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including:

• Hourly rate or Fee for Service model
• Malpractice insurance coverage

Psychiatric Institute of Washington provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for individuals of all ages facing mental health and addictive illnesses. Our private freestanding psychiatric hospital offers inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency and women's trauma. With multiple program units in medical hospitals across the D.C. area, we provide psychiatric inpatient, partial hospital, consult liaison, and SNF consultations.
