Position: Emergency Medicine, Faculty Physician /Clinician Educator Department: UNC Department of Family Medicine Location: Chatham Hospital, Siler City, NC Type: Full-time Permanent

Responsibilities
Patient Care: Clinical focus on staffing the ED of a teaching hospital 30 miles from Chapel Hill
Teaching & Education: Opportunity to work with a diverse faculty and train future healthcare providers for underserved populations
Research: Support and develop health sciences research programs and collaborations
Institutional Citizenship: Improve access, cost, quality, and health outcomes. Maintain timely documentation and satisfaction metrics.
Requirements
MD or DO required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
Certification in ACLS, PALS and ATLS required
Preferred: Clinical experience in ED, urgent care, rural practice, or teaching
Desirable: Fellowship training and/or an advanced degree (e.g. MPH)
