Position Overview:

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Cardiovascular and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) team at our Dallas and Frisco Heart and Vascular Hospital. This role offers a flexible schedule (30-40 hours per week) and outpatient only. You will be responsible for managing cardiovascular follow-up patients and supporting procedures related to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS).

This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about cardiovascular care who seeks the balance of patient interaction and surgical support, all without the expectation of call or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with Cardiovascular conditions and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS), including pre- and post-operative care.

• Perform clinical evaluations and follow-ups in outpatient.

• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to manage patient care.

   

• Maintain patient documentation, including clinical notes, histories, and treatment plans.

• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

• Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Physician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
