Penn State Health will sponsor students currently enrolled in their last two semesters of the HACC Respiratory Therapy Program. Students must currently be enrolled in the HACC Respiratory Therapy Program and graduating in August 2026 to qualify.
A graduate or certified Respiratory Therapist who, under medical supervision, delivers respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures approved by the Medical Director. These duties are generally performed with only minimal or indirect supervision and must frequently make independent decisions. The Respiratory Therapist must be able to adapt to the particular area assigned and must be able to perform special duties required by the assignment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Associate degree
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory program
- Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment.
