Registered Nurse PICC
Provides professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care. Primary role is the delivery of competent clinically appropriate placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Lines and/or Midlines as ordered, including maintenance and care of all Central Lines. Responsibilities: Assess patients with difficult access or need for long term IV therapy for appropriate vascular access deviceWorks with staff nurses, physicians, case managers and other team members to insure early assessment for VAD selection and implementationParticipates in education with Vascular Access education
