General Surgery Job Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon for Acute Care and Trauma Surgery in Irving, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Opportunity Highlights: 

• The candidate will need to be interested and comfortable in providing both acute care and trauma services. This opportunity does not include a critical care component.
• Opportunity will be joining an established group at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving
• Estimated 9 (24hr) shifts per month.
• Provider will primarily handle acute care cases generated from a specified number of call days each month.
• The provider will also likely host 1-2 clinic days to assist with post-op/ follow-up patients.
• No option for an elective practice.

•  Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
