Research Lab Support Tech
JOB SUMMARYThe Research Lab Support Tech performs technical laboratory support services required by the department or specific protocols. This position will clean and autoclave glassware or other laboratory equipment, prepare media, maintain and distribute inventory of lab supplies, animal husbandry, equipment cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs. This position will also oversee equipment and facility maintenance and repairs, monitors progress of construction projects, helps with lab moves and reorganizations, troubleshoots problems and oversees and implements safety programs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEPerforms research support services requested including: cleaning and autoclaving equipment, maintaining supply inventories, animal husbandr
