Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Physiology of Non-Visual Photoreception
DescriptionA postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Prof. Richard Lang in the Visual Systems Group and Science of Light (SOL) Center. The Lang lab uses mouse models and genetic methods to understand how the atypical opsins OPN3 (encephalopsin), OPN4 (melanopsin) and OPN5 (neuropsin) regulate light-dependent development and homeostasis (Relevant publications: Rao et al., Nature, 2013; Nguyen et al., Nature Cell Biology, 2019; Nayak et al., Cell Reports, 2020; Zhang et al., Nature, 2019; Jiang et al., PNAS, 2021). We are seeking highly motivated applicants to investigate light receptors, circadian biology and nervous system
