Position SummaryThe Pediatric Epilepsy Monitor Unit (PEMU) monitoring technologist performs a variety of tasks in the PEMU unit. These tasks include collecting patient histories, tracking patient throughput, viewing video EEGs for events and patient safety, and communication center for the PEMU operations. Ideal applicants will have EEG experience, either as a student of an EEG program and/or working in an EEG department. Successful applicants will have strong attention to detail, high communication skills, and the ability to identify changes in the EEG patterns.This position performs a variety of tasks relative to the tracking and monitoring of video EEG in the Pediatric Epilepsy Monitor Unit (PEMU).
