The Hershey Lab's research focuses on dissecting the mechanisms of allergic disease progression with the overall goal of improving the health of children with asthma and allergic disorders. Her laboratory integrates clinical, epidemiologic, translational, and basic research approaches in order to identify and delineate the mechanistic basis of the development, progression, and persistence of asthma using innovative human cohorts that they have built over the last 2 decades.
