The Cardiac Sonographer Senior performs clinical echocardiographic studies for congenital heart disease on patients ranging from neonatal to adult; assists the laboratory with complex cardiovascular malformations and technically advanced cases.  The Senior Sonographer has obtained a high level of proficiency, competency and knowledge in the field of pediatric echocardiography; provides instruction and orientation of new employees, physicians, fellows, students and preceptors; possesses advanced cardiac ultrasound theory and techniques; experienced in the field of cardiology, comprehension of anatomy and physiology, with specific experience in pediatric cardiac ultrasound.
