The Peace Corps Office of Health Services in Washington, DC is recruiting for two physician openings.  The Peace Corps is a federal government agency that provides Volunteers to approximately 60 developing countries to promote peace and friendship through community and economic development activities as well as a variety of educational programs in which Volunteers participate. We have 1,000 – 8,000 Volunteers in the field and each country post includes a modest ambulatory care unit, two Peace Corp Medical Officers and an office assistant. Our medical operations are based on pre-service medical screening, in-service support of Volunteers, and post-service support via the Department of Labor’s Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) eligibility.
