Surgical First Assist PRN Days Position Summary The Surgical First Assistant, under the direction and supervision of the surgeon, provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure and other intraoperative technical functions. The Surgical First Assistant may also perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate patient care.
