As a member of the Research Finance team, the Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for financial oversight of the grants & contracts closeout procedure, working closely with Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) to ensure compliance with all federal and state reporting regulations and institutional policies and procedures. They will also own the Effort Certification Process for all externally funded projects. Responsibilities include in-depth financial analysis and forecasting, review of final cost transfers, effort certifications/allocations, revenue, overdraft resolution, billable vs. non-billable expenditure variance analysis, managing effort certifications through the ECC module.
