Registered Nurse - Quality and Performance Improvement Consultant
The incumbent serves Hines VA as a Quality and Performance Improvement (QPI) Consultant (facilitator, coordinator, and advisor) and is directly responsible to the Chief of Quality & Patient Safety. The Quality Improvement Specialist is accountable for providing leadership and guidance to develop, implement, refine, and maintain a comprehensive quality management/improvement program. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
