Our patient mix is cardiac, cardiac surgical, vascular, pulmonary, arrhythmias and we receive overflow from other departments. We provide cardiac classes including telemetry training to our staff and promote internal growth. We have self-scheduling with department schedulers to even out your schedule. We look for candidates that are motivated, want to learn and have a great work ethic.Qualifications:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* 2 years clinical RN experience* 6 months - 1 year clinical leadership experience, preferred* A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required* High School GED required* RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable* BLS from the American Heart Association required* Additional Life Support Certifications per Department Standards; e.g. NRP, EFM, TNCC, etc.* Appropriate facility identified national certification within one year of becoming ANM strongly preferred.* Credential: ANM-ANCC Approved.* Clinical and/or Leadership Certification strongly preferred.Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 522-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprised of Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center.
