Research Specialist Cancer Center Administration (Job ID #1016711)
The University of Illinois Cancer Center is seeking candidates for a Research Specialist position. This position will support the activities of the newly established UICC Oncology Data Sciences Shared Resource (ODSSR), with a specific emphasis on data identification, acquisition, and mapping / visualization.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in social science or related field required. Masters degree in social science preferred.
A minimum of three years related research experience. Experience in population sciences / public health preferred.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
Responsibly handles confidential data.
Proficiency with ArcGIS or other similar data mapping tools.
