The mission of the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control (BHIV) is to end HIV transmission, promote the health of all New Yorkers with or vulnerable to HIV, reduce HIV-related inequities, and combat stigma.The Bureau of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control (BHIV) oversees and coordinates the NYC Health Department's response to the HIV epidemic.
