JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager of the eStar population health team leads technical analyst resources, plans, oversees projects in the population health clinical domain, designs, operates and monitors other ancillary products in their portfolio. This Manager develops and oversees standards and processes for product strategy, design, maintenance and operation at VUMC. Additionally, they will lead product managers in analyzing the market for new product and service trends, capabilities, and scalability.

Healthy Planet is Epic's primary population health management tool. This toolset is used to support quality and regulatory efforts at VUMC in collaboration with primary care and specialty outpatient areas to improve patient population's health and outcomes. Additionally, the team develops IT products and services in support of:

• Health Maintenance Activity to Identify and Manage Care Gaps
• Registries, Quality and Process Metrics
• Clinical Decision Support
• Reports, Dashboards, and Data Visualization
• Patient Outreach Tools
• Care Manager Workflow Tools

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates to operationalize the mission, strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies overseen by their team.
• Develops and monitors the implementation of area specific projects linked to organizational goals.
• Organize and manage minor enhancement, maintenance, and support work on the Healthy Planet team
