Incumbent of this position works as a Cook in the consolidated Nutrition and Food Services of Little Rock and North Little Rock Campuses, where approximately 2,200 meals are prepared and served daily. Incumbent will be assigned to rotating shifts-early, late or relief shifts. Works alone or with a supervisor. The primary purpose of the Cook is to prepare nutritious, high quality meals for service to the Veterans. Food Preparation Works independently to prepare and cook a variety of items including regular and therapeutic diet (diabetic, low sodium, low protein, gluten free, etc.) entrees and dessert items.
