Under general supervision, provides diversified administrative secretarial support, exercising independent judgment to maximize office efficiency and accuracy of schedules, meetings, calendars, and communications. Researches, gathers, analyzes and disseminates information to assist management in informational and statistical reporting. May oversee and coordinate budgeting and accounting activities which include revenue and expenditures of general and grant funds. Understands issues in the department and composes correspondence as needed.
