Job Summary:
- Hospital-based scenario where all overhead costs are covered by the medical center
- Enloe’s Rehabilitation Center is a modern and fully equipped facility with 42 inpatient beds
- Responsible for inpatient and outpatient services, chronic pain management, offering alternatives to potent opioid treatment
- Participate in inpatient rehab call including one weekend per month
- Staffing includes-3 PM&R (interventional pain/outpatient and inpatient) providers, 1 Nurse Practitioner, therapists, nurses, dieticians, and case managers
- Variety of procedures including but not limited to; fluoroscopy guided procedures (conscious sedition and anesthesia available), cervical, thoracic and lumbar region epidural steroid injections, joint injections, medial branch clocks, radiofrequency ablations. Neurostimulator trials and implants, minimally invasive S.I. joint fusions, minimally invasive interspinous spacers (Vertiflex), vertebral augmentation
- EMG (upper and lower extremities) desired
- No intrathecal pump management
- Advanced technology and equipment to assist in recovery to provide a broad spectrum of services
- General Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred [stroke, brain injury, post spine/orthopedic surgery, spinal cord injury, amputation, deconditioning]
- Generous compensation package based on the MGMA, western region-median, one year income guarantee and relocation stipend
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Fellowship trained in Pain Medicine desired
- CA Fluoroscopy license and operators permit
- Possess or be eligible for California State Medical License
