Practice Highlights

 Become part of a physician led 500+ provider multispecialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.  Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region.  Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adult patients. Through individual and group therapy options, psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions provided via an integrated treatment team. 

     The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult and geriatric outpatient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial multidisciplinary team and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. A willingness to see a limited number of older adolescent patients is desirable, but not required.

Support: Practice includes 3 Physicians, 2 APPs and 5 Clinical Social Workers.  Inpatient resources located on-site.  Part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care Clinics.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program. 
• Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
